  1. Clarity - clarity is king! Be as crystal clear as you can be with your descriptions
  2. Err on the side of more information is better than less information - don't fret about over-explaining. The more information we have, actually, the better we can find the best matches for your needs
  3. PLAN AHEAD - be a great planner, not even a good planner, be a great one. Contractors have lots of jobs they are working on and will be working hard to fit yours in. However, they will not always be able to jump through hoops to accommodate last minute emergencies that could have been better planned. Whenever possible, work with your clients to plan out what needs there are along with a timeline.
